For Ecol issues related to the environment are extremely important. Due to the specific varied nature of our activities, Ecol has instituted a program designed to limit the impact on the environment of industrial processes, and is constantly making resources available for its full implementation.
All our pro-environment activities, such as the saving of energy and water, the elimination of dangerous and toxic materials from the production and development processes, encouraging the proper use and exploitation of products posing a potential a potential treat to the environment, as well as the utilisation and recycling of waste, is an indispensable element to the functioning of all areas of our business.

Our environmental may be characterised as follows:

• To fulfil all legal requirements and regulatory norms for the protection of the environment
• To institute and effective system of environmental management system and encourage or employees to behave in a responsible way towards the environment
• To limit any impact on the environment through the reduction of waste and fuel emissions
• To work with products and materials that are environmentally friendly
• To promote the recycling of our materials
• To encourage our suppliers and clients to adopt pro-environmental policies
• To regularly renew our aims with regard to the environment

Our environmental policy is implemented in the following ways:

• Fulfilling all legal and regulatory norms with regard to environmental protection, in accordance with the current management system ISO 14001. Any discrepancies are dealt with straight away
• Care for the natural environment. We believe that environmental protection is the responsibility of everyone, that is why we expect from our employees and partners responsible and measured activities in this area
• Keeping pollutant substance emissions to a minimum vis-a-vis the use of
techniques, substances and materials that have little or no impact on the environment
• Effective and measured use of water and energy
• The appropriate and effective training of our staff with the aim of increasing their ecological awareness
